Celebrating Young Business Talent
On the sunny morning of July 12th, 2024, the JIPS hall buzzed with energy and anticipation as students gathered for the Brain of JIPS competition. This eagerly awaited event was graciously sponsored by our education partner, ABE. With participants from Aga Khan High School and Sheikh Khalifa High School, the hall was filled with bright minds ready to compete and connect.
The competition saw 32 students from Form 1 to Form 4, diving into a world of business knowledge. The event commenced with a written exam, where students demonstrated their understanding of various business concepts. Following this, the quick-fire rounds brought an exciting twist, splitting the participants into two categories: Form 1-2 and Form 3-4. The intensity and enthusiasm were palpable as students raced against the clock to answer questions.
Amidst the competitive spirit, the event also fostered a sense of community. Refreshments provided a welcome break, allowing students to mingle and share experiences. Trophies awaited the winning schools in each category, while the top performers in the written exams proudly received medals. Each participant went home with a certificate, a testament to their hard work and dedication.
The event’s success was largely due to the efforts of our student body, who played a key role in organizing and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their teamwork and leadership were truly commendable.
A special highlight was the presence of Mr. Boniface Kamau, the ABE Country Manager, as our chief guest. He inspired students to pursue their passions with vigour His words of wisdom and encouragement left a lasting impression on the young minds.
The Brain of JIPS 2024 was not just a competition; it was a celebration of learning, growth, and camaraderie. Students not only showcased their knowledge but also built connections and honed their skills. It was a memorable day, promising a bright future for these budding business leaders.
We look forward to more such events that continue to inspire and empower our students.
